Margaret, CQ Stories without words
Photographer: Katrina Elliott
Medium: Photography, Samsung S8
Location: Gladstone Hospital, Gallery 2
Photography is a great medium as it crosses cultural and linguistic barriers, and is suitable for all abilities. It can describe realities, communicate perspectives, and raise awareness of social and global issues. Without words, allow the artist or the subject to express themselves freely.
Central Queensland artist and Photographer, Katrina captures the Margaret’s journey through the first few months of COVID 19. “Katrina explained she was surprise to find that apart from not going out to shop and catch up with friends Margaret’s day to day wasn’t hugely impacted by COVID19. Margaret had explained she found great comfort in her normal studying of the bible and she also learnt how to use skype.”
